Greater Shady Grove Civic Alliance
Meeting: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 27,
2010 at 8:00pm
Mill Creek Towne Elementary School,
17700 Park Mill Drive, in the All Purpose Room
TOPIC - CASEY
7 -- PLANS FOR THE RELOCATION OF THE RIDE ON BUS FACILITY
The topic for the January meeting will be a
presentation of the County plans for Casey 7 which is the property
located on the empty field across from the Grove Shopping Center on
Crabbs Branch Way. The county is planning on relocating the Ride
On bus facility, which is currently on Crabbs Branch Way next to Metro,
to the Casey 7 site. The lead planner for this program is Hamid
Omidvar from the Montgomery Office of Planning and Development.
He will be at the meeting to show and discuss the plan for the
development of this site. This is an opportunity for the
community to have input on the site design. This will have major
implications on Derwood.
Remember, if Montgomery schools are closed because of weather all
activities at the school on that day are canceled.
