It is very important that we have a good turnout for this meeting since
it reflects the communities concern and involvement in the political
process. Our representatives can only reflect your concerns
if they know what they are. Community input impacts decisions about
what takes place in our community and state.
This is your opportunity to ask your elected representatives questions
about issues that concern you and the community; health care, taxes,
budget priorities, the status of the ICC and other transportation
projects etc.. Please encourage your neighbors to attend. Let our State Representatives know that
Derwood cares!!
There
will be no Alliance meeting in December. The next Alliance meeting will
be January 27
The Greater Shady Grove Civic Alliance was formed and continues
to work to represent to our elected officials what is in the best
interest of the Derwood community. We encourage your active
participation at our meetings so that we may accurately represent the
views and concerns of the community.
